To be yourself, regardless of what anyone else thinks. You know peer pressure? It's overrated. Often times people will respect you for being yourself and sticking to your own convictions. At least, that's how I've found it to be.

Homer and Marge consult the kids on coolness...

Cool is relative to the person you want to appeal to. One thing that may make you cool to some people is going to make you uncool to others. Soo being cool is really a choice of weither you consider yourself cool, because others are always going to have sorted opinions. But simply calling yourself cool doesn't make you cool to anyone else.

It's like in Liar Liar where the boy says 'I thought that beauty lies inside a person' (or something like that) and he replies 'That's just what ugly people say' xD

Same with 'coolness'. Saying just to be yourself isn't being cool, it's being yourself.
Example: Someone 'being them self' turns out to be a paedophile, that is being them self but is that cool? Not really =/ Unless if you're a paedophile too.

Cool has different meanings to everyone. What I think is cool may not be what you think is cool. The word 'cool' cannot be used in factual context as the word shows opinion.

If you were really cool, you wouldn't care about what others think but thats where you get "being cool" from anyway... other people.

Cool is not only about things you did to impress people, if you feel proud about yourself and the little things you do in your little corner of the world, then you're cool as a snowflake.
