Hacking What is Going Wrong Xploit

PS3 Slim CECH-2XXX (NOR)
Ok so someone just gave me a PS3 so I thought I would mess around with it. I have been following this guide "https://gbatemp.net/threads/guide-ps3-4-82-cfw-installation-for-dummies.491117/". I successfully and manually went from 4.6 to 4.82. I have the proper files on the USB and PC and connect successfully to the PC. I get ALL the way to the Xploit page and get a Green Successful but then.... That is it.. It just freezes and Nothing happens. I do not get a beep and shutdown... I have tried at least 30x.

Is there something else I can try? or am missing here?

NVM... I read somewhere that updates and such were getting interference from additional devices in the USB ports. I was using a USB controller and so just as I clicked "Initialize" I unplugged the controller. Worked first try after that.
