Hacking what is dma mode
DMA mode is direct memory access mode for faster access to the microsd card. However people have reported problems with certain games when dma mode is used. I won't try to give a longer explanation in these forums. If you want more information I suggest you use the google search engine.

Basically you should try and use DMA when possible, unless a game has trouble with it. It can help stop stuttering when movies play back in some ds games and other things.
