Hacking What if i....

So i was using my ds2 like normal worked great for about 2 weeks then it started to sometimes not be seen by my ds.

fixed that by shoving a piece of paper in with it

that worked for about 2 more weeks.

now its not working at all and looking around trying to find out what broke the only thing i can see wrong is that inside my ds 1 pin is bent sideways and will bridge contact between 2 pins on the cartridge.

these are pins 8 and 9 i believe (marked in picture)

which according to Google should be data pins. would shorting these break my cart?

You bent pins on your slot-1.

As for if it's fixable... Would you rather try shorting it and risk bricking your cart, or would you rather get it fixed by Nintendo or something?

Thing is it stopped working in a ds with out the bent pin issue first. it worked in the one with the bent pin for a bit then stopped again.

and the ds with the bent pins is a ds phat that was given to me and our other ds's have broken hinges now


and now its not being recognized in any ds i have access to which are all dslites or phats. im wondering if it has any chance of being fixable
