im going to install rednand and then use the Brazilian method to install wii u games onto my portable hard drive so what format should my wii u games be to install them with wupinstaller?

It downloads them in the format you need. Just put the downloaded folder into the install folder and youll be all good!
If you plug it into the wii u and it actually powers it fully, it should ask you to format it. If i doesnt try going into settings and go to the copy/move/format section and see if it detects it. If not you will need a Y cable to supply the rest of the power needed for the HDD

I have a y cable at least I think it's a y cable it came with the hard drive case I order call nexstart tx here's a pic of my drive I used an 500gb ps4 drive and put it inside this case my pc read it well is on exfat format right now

i used to go out to the recycling center every couple weeks and look at the crts and other electronics people would drop off. Usually screens were broken or severely scratched from being tossed around. Did find a good one here and there, but never anything like a 1080i widescreen crt. -

Is it piracy if it was released for free? Not in my opinion, but I also think it's not piracy if buying it isn't owning it, and it's not piracy if you can't buy it from the original creators anymore. -
