I got a acekard 2i, its a new version, i posted in the how to spot a clone thread. I will be getting a supercard dstwo as well at some point.

I gave the R4i away.

I have:

A R4DS, not white, but still original.
Supercard DSTWO, because it freaking rules, and can do about anything, from games to movies.
And last but not least, a REAL Supercard SD GBA flashcard. (

dstwo(best for snes and nds), acekard2i(sitting on the shelf) and ezflash IV(the best for GBA and NES). I don't like moonshell, is there an alternative?

I only have the R4 1:1 clone, it fully meets my requirements .

My first was Supercard Slot 2, still have it running for my DSphat once in a while for GBA gaming (ahh.. harry potter 3!)

Then i got tired of the godamn software menu to add games and crashing every so often, plus some games having AP (it was around the time of the Mario & Luigi BIS i'm sure you guys recall it xD) and so i bought a Supercard Dsonei (in case i buy a "i" later and actually i did buy a Dsi XL)

All working perfect until SCDSTwo came out, i got it for the SNES emu namely.. disapointed as hell by laggy gameplay on every single game but oh well.. better than the broken SNEmulDS at least but now that i see the quality on PSP SNES, i never run it anymore.. might be good for turn based RPG but no other purpose really, also the text sometimes croppled pissed me off in some of those.. again you guys get my point im sure lol

Hated the iReader breaking my manga reading every different page resolution or for unknown reasons, no hate for Mame4all just meh.. its just proof of concept so yea.. I still like my DSTwo for the videoplayer plugin, and the powerful built in AP fix + quick updates on patches though, also i have 2 of them cards one for DS games and another for all the emulators. I bought one more to get free shipment along with the one i got for my little niece (only card playing her barbie and the 3 musketeers lol)

Now if i knew the not-so-useful added power of SCDSTwo chip i would have gone Acekard2i but ah well ^^

Hmm, where do I start....

I have (in order as I got them):
  • G6lite
    N5
    M3 Simply
DSTTi (Actually this one got bricked on a update so don't have it anymore)
    M3 Zero
    R4 Gold
    Acekard 2i
    Supercard DSTwo
    LEDS2 (Limited Edition DSTwo)
The one(s) I use mainly are the DSTwo's, mainly for the GBA Emulation on a DSi/3DS

I have 2 different slot1 carts: An original R4 and 2 CycloDS's.

I have 3 dedicated slot2 carts. I call them "dedicated" slot2 carts because they don't require a slot1 cart to function for GBA related files like something like a 3in1 does.
They are:
Supercard (sucks that GBA games slow down in it, but seems the easiest to set up for DS ROM dumping)
M3 Perfect (the ultimate slot2 cart, IMO. Real-time-clock and I've yet to find a GBA game it won't play perfectly. Sucks that they aren't available anymore though)
EZFlash IV (last of a dying breed. Seems to play GBA games fine, but lacks a Real-time-clock)

All 3 are full GBA sized versions so they can be used in either my DSlite (I don't care if they stick out) or my GBA SP2.

better than i thought at first but hardly enjoyable being so laggy
just get a PSP for perfect ps1 gaming on handheld

1. CycloDS Evo
2. CycloDS iEvo
3. SuperCard DSTwo
4. AceKard 2i
5. R4 DS (original)

Posted in order of purchase/receiving. Mainly used the iEvo on the DSi XL since I was used to using the CycloDS Evo on my DSL for about 3 years or so. Probably switching to the DSTwo for all my DS needs since the iEvo support is quite non-existent at the moment. All in all, all cards have their on good and bad sides, but the AK2i is the best for its price while as the DSTwo probably overall regarding the current support (or the lack of it) for the iEvo.
