Hardware What does 3DS really mean?

I always thought it was 3xDS, because that's roughly what they tried to sell it for when it launched

I wanted to type "T3rribly Dated System" but I figured that was stretching it a bit too much.

I thought you might have gone with 3 Decades behind Sony, since you're such a fan boy

I thought DS was short for "Die Sony", DS Lite "Die Sony Literally" and DSi "Die Sony immediately", so 3DS would be "3rd attempt of the Die Sony project" or "3 times Die Sony" or something like that.
