Hacking what do you guys recommend?

hey im new here and am looking at getting a M3 Real for my DS but am not sure, do you guys think its worth getting?

i just got mine. it looks really good. however reading the gbatemp reviews made me lean towards other flash carts like cyclods, but i chose m3ds real anyways.

You came to M3 boards, and ask if it's worth getting it....Well, most of members that post here are M3 users, and will recommend it..but that might not be completely objective opinion..

My opinion is that M3 Real is the best card out there..I've tried many carts, I use M3 Real and CycloDS every day, and I still like M3 Real the best..
It does everything I want it to, and with Sakura, it has multimedia player implemented in firmware..

So if you're going to listen to me, go and get it!!

Not really, because iTouch DS isn't natively compatible with Sakura, which means you have to make a hack everytime an update is released.

And, if it doesn't work, cmon, Sakura works, why would you buy a M3Real, for using Sakura, or M3Real FW, if you can buy an iTouchDS that does that both, but for a much cheaper price?
@Strataont you think that since the patch from Rudolph is out, that's no longer a problem?

relying on hacked firmware isn't good.
updates will take much longer since they need to be hacked again.
new security checks can always be made.
if not done properly they might even damage your microSD/flashcard

choosing itouch based on the triple boot isn't good.
you can however choose m3real because of m3sakura, since an official version will be released soon.

Completely right..Bad idea to depend on hacked firmware (and updating the very same hack with every official update)..

But I don't doubt there will be many people buying iTouchDS over M3 Real, just because it's cheaper..

Read speed isn't that important, it's the access times that matters.
