I was thinking about getting a 22" LCD TV so I could hook my PS2 as well as my 360 but I wondered what others do and maybe convince myself out of TV thing and stick to a monitor (note that I dont need a desktop monitor since I use my Laptop all the time).

I'm currently using a 17" Flat CRT monitor that has brightness problems and if the game I'm playing doesnt have option for increasing brightness, I'm fucked (like Ace Combat (I finished that even in that state, L0L)).

So, what do you gaming on.

Ouch, you are playing it in 4:3, right? A 22" is 16:10, so you will have to suffer non-native resolution for PS2 or get a monitor with 4:3 scaling. I have one such, an LG W2252TQ, it is a VERY nice monitor.

I've got my 360 hooked up to my 19" LCD via HDMI. When no one is watching it, I hook my 360 to the Samsung 32" LCD via HDMI which is in the living room

I might be upgrading my bedroom TV soon, 22" maybe.

I'm after wide screen for my 360 games which gives me 4:3 option too which I prefer since I'll play more 360 than PS2 with S-Video cable that I got which gives much better screen than normal PS2's A/V.
and we don't have any monitors around here which have A/V.

Let's not get off the topic, just tell me what u hook up.

Component hookup.

Aside: Digital audio through a receiver and 5.1 speakers

An ancient standard-def 27-inch TV (the kind you need two people to carry), or a 20" less-ancient SDTV.

I'm honestly considering a decent sized LCD TV so that I can not only watch TV on it, but be able to play games and use it as a secondary monitor.

I game on a 40" 1080p Samsung set. Tis an amazing TV for everything I use it for (A Media PC, PS3, 360 and Wii I guess lol)

Before that it was a 32" SDTV which didn't work properly with 60hz causing the screen to shake after extending periods of play lol

I'm on HP vs15c 15 inch CTO Rfrbd LCD Monitor. I don't even know what the hell half of those abbreviations mean but it displays great. I use the Pelican Air Flo cooler for vga output on my old non-hdmi Xbox 360. It cost me $10 new at Gamestop. That's like one forth of the official one's price. To hell with proprietary cables!!!
