Homebrew What demos or games have you tried on n3ds HANS app 800mhz overclock?

N3DS XL (ACHHD edition) from my youngest daughter.
I tried Hometown Story (bought eShop game) but it doesn't run any faster, it's the same.
Also i couldn't use the home button, had to power down the system

Had to try a few times, 2 first tries it was stuck on a yellow screen, 3th and 4th time it booted fine without a problem, 5th time it got stuck again, seems it's a trial and error with HANS for games

It's normal, with 2.5, the home button takes a screenshot...
To exit, you can return to the HB launcher by pressing L+R+down (on the dpad)+b

After the Sega logo, you get a Tap to start screen, after tapping, the game hangs in a loop on the NOW LOADING screen but you can return to HBL with the button combo

It's wierd (or normal) i only see 1 file -> screenshots_raw.bin in the root of the sd, nowhere else i can see any screenshot files

Yes, it's normal, you need to download the homebrew starter pack, in which you will find scrtool. It is used to decode this file and convert it into .png images

So i tried Hatsune Miku Project Mirai DX (EU) retail card on a 2DS with the N3DS overclock feature.
It doesn't hang, like on the N3DS but boots fine BUT
In the menu screen it's way faster, in game playing feels like it's a tiny bit faster, the music starts to stutter in some places and the puyo mini game speed is normal but the audio is faster.

L+R+Down+B doesn't work in Hatsune Miku Project Mirai DX to return to HBL

I don't think it's very healty trying the overclock feature on a 2DS

I think DKC Returns 3D runs at a slightly more steady 30 frames per second, so less dips is pretty cool.

I've just testet this side by side on my two N3DS's, and there is absolutely no difference. Sadly.

Also testet Sonic Generations, no difference either.

Open HANS, select e-shop, in the region select your console's region or "--", for the language select your console's language or "--", turn firmware spoof on, leave the other options off and click okay. It works fine for me.

Personally it works like 1/3 times, it's really not that stable atm. If it still doesn't work, I can't help you, sorry :/

I tried and timed Hulu Plus on a new3ds xl us.
(from as soon as I see hulu plus screen to the main screen with tv series - programmes.)
From 3ds menu :: 41 seconds
from hans 268 mhz :: 37 seconds
from hans 804 mhz :: 37 seconds

Tested Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate standard settings no messing with it and it crashes and gives you an error forcing you to turn off your 3DS and boot it back up.

Tried Ridge Racer 3D through HANS but I only get a yellow bottom screen. Bummer.

Somebody please try that silky smooth 15 fps that is MGS 3D!

Just tested it, it's so much faster ..well mostly. It still slows down from time to time, but it's like 15.1fps now!

Edit: Also as we know, no c-stick support yet so that whole 1/10 of a frame is going to waste for now

What happens if one overclocks IronFall and then uses IronHax?

You'll launch back into HANS and then add even more MHz, making an infinite CPU!
