Gaming What decent 3DS games are there?

Pretty much right, I have a 3DSXL sitting here, doing nothing because I cannot find a game that I like and do not get bored of after 10 minutes.
I'm open to all region's of games (have GW, can use CFW etc etc) so I am just going to ask, taste aside, what are the best/time-consuming/most fun 3DS games out there to play? I want to eventually have a list of games to play in which I can pick from and try them for myself.

Can you narrow down a type of game you're considering?

Bravely Default is a lot of fun if you like RPG.
And obv I'm inclined toward Kid Icarus Uprising

Project X Zone, Bravely Default, and Mario Kart 7 are probably the three that I've had the most fun with and put the most hours into (...aside from Mii Plaza which I've clocked up some ridiculous play-time on).
Tomodachi Life is closing in fast on those top three too

Now this is what I was looking for. Ive played the Pokemon games etc etc, Smash is great, dont like Majora's.
Curious, for games like SMT4 and such, do any require knowledge found on the prequels to those games?

Not at all. The games are for the most part stand-alone and only share gameplay mechanics.

The Devil survivor series is primarily turn-based strategy (although once you get far enough, your demons may throw strategy out the window)
Shin Megami Tensei 4 is typical turn-based RPG combat with mons (Demons).
Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers is virtually the same is SMT IV, just not as refined.

The fundamental element most SMT games share is the choice system and the demons that encompass the series.
