Hey gang. So I have some decent replacement skills for devices. Frankensteined a switch lite for my daughter. Curiosity got time running now. Could I take a OLED kiosk/demo model (one locked and missing components for retail), and replace or add in the missing components from a retail Switch? I can order all the replacement boards and things online but I'm wondering how much I'd have to swap out.

Hard to say. You'd probably have to install a modchip first then then make a backup of the nand and dump the keys

Then you can probably start working on it then maybe reformat it via hekate + tools used to manually update firmware

With regards to parts, not really sure. It depends on how different the boards are probably would be my guess.

Also with your daughter's lite, did you restore docking feature?
