I don't have the triwing screwdriver so I can't check it by reading the chip (I wan't to buy the triwing with the nice discount from ozmodchips)
I bought my PAL wii on 26-06-2008 and my serial is LEH 1951xxxx [0] since the serials on the wiki don't go further than LEH 191439XXX and LEH 18099999 I'm asking you guys.

Would it be the safest to go for the wii-clip v4c+d2pro9?

Just so yo know...it's tri-wing type screws...

I only know the australian serial codes...sorry i can't help

Already did that.

There is a 50% chance that your drive chip is a GC2-D2C
There is a 50% chance that the pins on your drive chip are not cut.
You have or D2C or D2B
You need to open a wii to know.
Can't do that since I lack the triwing
I know.

BTW. I opened the Wii without triwing.
would have been nice if you added how you did that

There:
1 Strong Grandpa
1 Small flat screwdriver (that'll fit into the two on the screw)

Use grandpa and screwdriver to open the wii.

You can also get something to make the flat screwdriver more "triwingy" I dunno the word.
