Hacking What Card Should I buy Next ?

Hi guys.

I'm absolutely confused as to what card to buy my two kids next.

I already have 2 R4 Revolution's which have worked well enough but are mostly black screening for anything recent that I add them. So I thought it was time to buy something newer.

So was wondering what the best card to buy is, I'm totaly bewlidered by the range out there at the moment. Is the acekard the best or an other ?

Is it the acekard 2i I need or just the acekard 2, it's for a DS Lite.

Any help and advice is greatly appreciated, I'm a tad out the know.

If your r4 is genuine no need to spend more money on another cart just get the new Wood Loader and use that instead it should load all new games.

If you have the money, get the Supercard DSTWO. If not, pick up an Acekard 2i. I know you can use the Acekard 2 on a Lite, but I'd probably get the 2i just for the future.

x2 would take me to 70 quid, my wife would go ballistic LOl I told her it would be no more than 40 quid all in.

I do like the look of that card though it's got some real nifty features.

the dstwo is the better choice, along with nds rom, you have GBA, and soon SNES and video player
enough stuff to keep the kids busy for the long trip (if you take one)

for the acekard, I like the lockout feature..it keeps the kids from messing with files and stuff

but like everyone said if you have original R4, than the just add wood

Yeah, not all the features are in it yet, but once (for example) the SNES emulator comes out, you'll probably want one (I know I would if I didn't have one already).

IF u got the money, get a ds2, if not, get a acekard 2i

hi if all you want is to load games and almost never see that black screen again all you really need is an acekard and if only on a ds lite you can get the 2 but I'd recommend the 2i. for two reasons
1. it is the only acekard product i can speak from exp. on.
2. if you ever decide to upgrade to a ndsi or even a dsixl you wont need new flashcards

I've spoke with my wife and she's agreed we would be as well just getting the SC DSTWO.

So x2 DSTWO's are going to be ordered

You have a problem buying from the UK. There was recently a courtcase which made the selling of these in the UK illegal http://www.telegraph.co.uk/technology/nint...ed-illegal.html That's caused most of the normally recommended UK retailers to shut up shop, which means you will have to get them from abroad.

Most people purchase them from ShopTemp, as it's affilated with this site. They charge $35 for the DSTWO.

If you purchase from them, make sure you select atleast Registered Shipping as it allows you to track them through the Hong Kong Post Website while within Hong Kong. Delivery to the UK is normally 1-2 weeks, but in some cases may take longer. Airmail tracking uses a standard tracking format (same format as RM's except the GB on the end of the 13digit number is HK) so it's possible (didn't work for my last package) you may be able to track it once it arrives in the UK through the parcel force website (tick the Incoming International Parcel), or you can try the RM tracking.
