I have read a lot about the risks of bricking the wii u.
These are my findings:
1/ installed CBHC and factory reset your wii u without first uninstalling CBHC
2/ installed CBHC and deleted or move the exploited eshop game
3/ Using WUP installer to install system titles (what are actually system titles) to nand

I thought that was it but recently I came across this thread saying crashes in vWii can cause your wii u to brick? (https://gbatemp.net/threads/mocha-or-haxchi.462480/page-2#post-8397661)
So, I should avoid hacking the vWii? Will wii/GC injected VC work if I don't hack the vWii?

I have other questions too:
1/ If I install an eshop title or DLC or injected VC with WUP installer without being in CFW, will this cause a brick?
2/ If I install an eshop title or DLC or injected VC with WUP installer in CFW but I launch it without CFW, will this cause a brick?
3/ If I always install using WUP installer only on USB, is there still a chance of bricking?

The other questions:
1• Maybe, because it can be that one file corrupts then it might brick your System
2• Maybe (the same as point 1)
3• Maybe (the same as point 1)

If you have a SD Card large enough do a nand backup a full nand backup with WiiU Nand Dumper (downloadable via HB Appstore)
then after this you should learn micro soldering and soldering this is important in case you brick your console then you can recover everything OTP, SEEPROM, SLC, SLCCMPT, MLC then you restored your Wii U
except for if you get an error if you boot the wii u for example there something wrong with nand then this means you have full bricked system this is unrecoverable don't ask for other stuff it is impossible even if you try to recover it, it won't work
So always have a backup ready in case!
You never know what can happen
Hope this helped you further!
Have a great day!

According to that post it's only if you have CBHC, but it still sounds like bullshit. I've never heard of vWii bricking Wii U mode and it wouldn't make any sense since they are on separate partitions.

Me too that sound so weird i mean you could install an corrupted wad and then the vWii is maybe bricked but not the Wii U itself

If someone said this
He is lying

After injecting hundreds of games and hacking my vwii, I don't feel there's any reason to worry about Wii U unless you do something really stupid like delete CBHC or move it to your usb drive.

CBHC is absolutely safe.. Unless you don't follow the basics.. Which you have mentioned ..
Not absolutely safe, it can be that some files are corrupted or something was gone wrong while installing cbhc everything can happen
you don't really know what can happen

Such is the case with pretty much any program for any system, there's always that risk something might happen. Putting people off by saying that specifically for CBHC is therefore wrong: outside those parameters, and following the basics, CBHC is safe.

The same is true of a larger amount (by number and size) of officially installed critical titles, though

For the same reason, turning on the Wii U (which writes to the nand, puts stress on the optical drive controller, ...) is not intrinsecally safe ;)

From what I've read, it is also possible for the system to also brick due to a defect in the emmc, but this can also happen on stock systems.
