I am a lucky user of the original R4 Card for DS, and I now possess a 3DS! So, I was wondering what the cheapest card I could find would be. So, I came across Shoptemp's R4i SDHC. ( http://shoptemp.net/products/R4i%252dSDHC-3DS.html ) I was going to buy it from Eachgame (http://www.eachgame.hk/goods-5252.html)

Is this OK? Or are there better cards for even cheaper? I'd welcome any suggestions.

T_T Try getting an Acekard 2i. Or DSTWO. Trust me.
acekard 2i and the SuperCard DSTWO are great. I would also recommend the r4i Gold 3DS if you also want wood r4 running on a 3DS with more than 4gigs of memory.

You really don't need a SCDS2 if you don't care about it's extra features (GBA support, multimedia support, RTS/RTG, free-cheat, etc).

i have an r4i-sdhc and it's not that bad
there are continuous updates and fw updating with wifi
the team is really putting some effort and the only flaw is the unupdatable bootsrap
sure the acekard2i and the dstwo are the best but it's not so bad

r4i gold 3ds would probably be your best choice. it has a great price and supports wood (is updated regularly to support the new 3ds updates). It also supports most homebrew. a good place to purchase it is digitopz.com.
