Haven't followed the scene too closely for some time.

Are there any essential homebrews to get other than:

    • Vitashell
    • The offline installer
    • Adrenaline (w/ EasyInstaller for first time)
    • MaiDump English patch (anything better or more worth using than the now 9-month old English patch here?)
    • RetroArch
Any other essential homebrew or features I missed out on (besides Moonlight which I don't use)?

ArkFast to clone bubbles and Adrenaline Bubbles Manager to inject PSP isos and homebrew into your new bubbles. Make sure you delete your ArkFast created bubbles with ArkFast or else you'll screw up your other bubbles.

Id say there arent any essential apps besides vitashell and the offline installer. Everything else is a matter of taste.

TouchRemap plugin - which can disable rear touch pad in games if it annoying you or can swap the rear touch with front touch and viceversa.
Oclock/ amphetamin plugin - which allow the overclock that increase perfomance in some psv games.

Happy Land is the best PS Vita homebrew ever. No, actually, it's the best video game ever. No game will ever be better than it with Happy Land's action packed game play, heart-wrenching story, and beautiful graphics.
