This is an oresome idea!

Please could anyone give their thoughts on whether minecraft ds would be a good/possible idea because it is an amazing game! you could even use the wifi to play with other people. surely the cpu in the supercard dstwo could handle the huge worlds.

another good thought imagine minecraft on 3ds using the 3d render setting!!!

No. Just no. Huge worlds are impossible. We don't have enough RAM. It's also not going to work because the DS' GPU (if it has one, I'm not sure) isn't fast enough.
