Hi everyone,
I'm really sorry to ask for a favour/some guidance as my first post but I've reached the end of my ability.
I have a soft-modded Wii, running USBLoaderGx and a handful of emulators. All of which I learnt how to do from this site, so Thank You very much. Using USBLoaderGX to backup my Wii and GC games has been brilliant because it means I can play all my games but don't need a bookcase full of discs in boxes to do so.
Anyway, I'm in the UK and we are on 'Lockdown' at the moment. Furthermore some people have had letters from the Government saying they cannot leave their homes for 12 weeks. Unfortunately my father in law has one of the letters due to an existing medical condition. Anyway, to help him out I bought a 2nd wii which I also modded and setup the same as mine, which I then mailed to him so he can play my games.
He's very happy with this but he keeps asking if I can get Wetrix (from the N64) for him as he was addicted to it back in the late 1990's. Naturally I want it to work on my system before I attempt to get it on his wii. I've got the N64 emulator (Wii64) which usually works great and I have tried both the Pal and NTSC version of Wetrix. They load the title screen ok, but the game is totally un-playable.
I then learnt (from the VCInjections Compatibility List on this site) that someone has managed to get Wetrix to work via VCInjection (using F-Zero X as the WAD). I've spent the best part of a week trying to get this process to work, following guides and tutorials but my 'HowardC_Tools' .exe files wont run so I'm stuck.
Has anyone successfully played Wetrix on a Wii without generating a VC Injection for it? And if not, does anyone have a VCInjection WAD which I can load onto my Wii if this is the only way to get it to work?
I know that it's a big ask, but I know it will make his day/week so I thought it was worth a try.
Thanks in advance,
Jay
