Can't say I prefer old mainstream rock, but I do like it more than todays MTV music...
If I'd have to choose one rock band from older days, it would be AC-DC.....

Yeah, I don't listen to punk at all... So, I doubt I would know any of the bands you listen to.

I grew up listening to 70's rock... My parents were teenagers in that time era, so I mostly listened to that kind of music.
