The small Upper Austrian town of Fucking is known all over the world because of its name. From January 1, 2021, the community now wants to rename itself - from Fucking to Fugging. The municipal council decided on Monday. Images circulated on Twitter today with an excerpt from the corresponding announcement. Mayor Andrea Holzner (ÖVP) confirmed this.
