Hardware Weird touchscreen issue

So I got a digitizer replacement for my switch because the old one was scratched up, but only part of the left side can drag my touch input, and for the other side i have to hold down the left side to drag (but that doesn't let me use the touch screen normally). What issue is this? Is it the wrong digitizer version? or too much adhesive? For context I didn't repair it myself. If theres any fix I would really appreciate it.
Also sometimes it works normally which is really weird

Which model of the switch you are using? If it is v2 and you bought the v1's digitizer then that is your problem.

Could be all sorts of different things. Maybe flat cable needs a bit more cleaning, V1/V2 mismatch like said earlier, defective piece...
