Hello I recently got a gameboy advance SP and I decided I'd play some of my gba games on it.

The system was playing games fine but then I put in the game "Road Rash Jail Break" and the game faded in with the "Licensed by nintendo" and then I heard glitchy sounds and then a photo of a woman with her two kids popped up and stayed on the screen until I powered it off, now I can't even get it to read the cart (No, It's not a bootleg)

I included a photo.

Anyone have any further information on this?

Nothing was modified I don't believe.

I got it at a flea market 3 years ago and it always worked fine until now.

Also, if it's worth anything the kids are by a pool ( It looks like a hotel pool) and both kids have goggles on.
Could one of the devs slapped in the photo or something?

Creepypasta or bootleg cart or easter egg in the game that you accidentally found. I'm guessing creepypasta, but you're welcome to open the cartridge and show us its contents.

I wish I knew how and had the equipment to look into the game files.

Maybe it's in all the games regardless? Could I look into a already dumped rom of the game?

Maybe working on the game was stressful so one of the devs somehow added a picture of his family for encouragement or maybe the serial killer you bought from uploaded his next victim to his GBA cartridges.

You could look into a ROM, but I have a weird feeling that you're trolololing us. :D

All I really asked for was a photo of the cartridge and its innards to make sure it's a genuine one, not a bootleg.

EDIT: Nevermind, apparently it IS in the game.

Usually when such a big title leaks the Temp will be the first to report about it (going off of historical reports here, Pokemon SV being the latest one I can recall seeing pop up here)
