Hacking Weak Plastic On DS Lite

On the panel with the volume slider, directly above the GBA slot, has anyone else noticed that the plastic seems a bit loose or even brittle? Just wondering if I was the only one

No your not the only one. My volume slider has always rattled, it doesn't bother me though.

Oh, come on. That's not that big of a deal. I bet they did it like that on purpose.

It could be far worse, like the cracking near the top.
