Hi,

just bought a Seagate 880GB FreeAgent Go USB2 drive.
I used Seagate Manager to set the sleep timer to "Never".
Made 2 NTFS partitions using EASEUS Partition Master,
Formated partition 1 to WBFS using wbfs intelligent gui.
Copied some games from my Seagate 320GB FreeAgent Go to the 880GB FreeAgent Go using WiiBackupManager0.3.5-beta1.

The WiiBackupManager0.3.5-beta1 does see the WBFS partition and list all the games on this partition.
So far so good.

Now when I connect the 880GB FreeAgent Go drive to my Wii and start WiiFlow 1.1 R25 its gives me this error:
"wbfs_open failed"

When I connect my 320GB FreeAgent Go USB2 drive with 2 partitions (NTSF and WBFS) it does load..
What can be the problem here?
Thank you!

I use a PAL 4.0E Wii with Wiiflow 1.1 R25 and these IOS:

partition=WBFS1 : wbfs_open failed
partition=WBFS2 : wbfs_open failed

what is going wrong here? It does work in config usb loader btw..

Had a similar problem, but it was Forwarder related.
Maybe you should try another forwarder (if you're using one)... I used Carbonik (WFBJ) and no problems ever since...

Okay, follow this link http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=182236.

Download WIT, use it to check wbfs to see if there is a problem. If there is, use it to repair it.
Also upgrade WiiFlow to 2.1 and try this again.

If it still does not work, install Hermes cIOSv4 and use WiiFlow IOS222 to open wbfs.

P.S. What happened to your IOSes? Many of them have bugs and low version number which should not exist in 4.0. Did you use cIOSCORP or DARKCORP?

... seems that my previous post dissapeared...

Try making the wbfs the first partition on your disk or just switch to fat32

Thanx.
Ive downloaded WIT and the QtWitGui.exe but it keeps giving me an error when I load the GUI, something to do with an "entrypoint procedure _Z17qt_message_output DLL QtCore4.dll"

I already have Hermes V3 installed and tried to load WiiFlow IOS222 from the HBC channel...same error.
How can I update/fix my IOSes?
thanx again

I just tried a clean install of the latste wiiflow version, r92a-WiiFlow_249.zip and the latest Configurable USB Loader, Cfg_USB_Loader_57.zip.
Now Wiiflow does see my WBFS partition but when I select a game (Zelda TP), it wont load...
Same problem with Cfg_USB_Loader_57.

When I connect my other Seagate 320Gb USB with 2 partitions (WBFS+NTSF) it does work with no problems at all.
Need some help please...

I had the same problem, and setting the partition to primary and active fixed it.
Thanks!
No more USB flash cards for me
