Gaming water damaged ds help please

I was playing my ds on the treadmill and I got sweat on it, it started turning itself off. Today, I tried it again and it stayed on longer but its still turning itself off. Will it fix itself once the water is completely evaporated or is my ds done? fat ds I've had since I got my first paycheck at wendys when I was a teen, im gonna hang it on my wall if I cant get it fixed. lol

Firstly, stop turning it on until you're sure it's completely dried or you risk frying a component.

get a recepient with rice, and let the ds covered in rice for a while, it will absorve the humidity

after that, get a drier, and dry it up

it should work

I used a drier and waited all day but its still turning itself off. is there anything I can do? Will nintendo fix it?
