Hacking Wario Land Shake It

If you go down to http://wiki.gbatemp.net/wiki/index.php/Backup_Launcher_v3#W and check, it shows that the game works fine, but it doesn't seem to work for me. The loader recognizes the disk, but once the game starts, the screen goes black and the Wii won't connect to my Wiimote.

Is anyone else having the same problem? Can anyone direct me to a solution if there is one?
