Won't fix Want the old design back

Most users like the old design better because they were so used to it and not all the features are here yet (which, has been
said, they will port over most of the plug-ins and whatnot). You will have your dark version, just wait a little more but please
understand, every image has to be remade manually and individually, its not automatic.
Just give it time, change does not happen over night, it takes more time, effort and money than you guys think (please donate).

I would understand people complaining if weeks/months had passed without improvement, but really? Not even one day has passed.
Having said that, complaining actually helps but having the developers read the same complaints over and over again may just
slow down the very thing everyone wants.

For me, the new layout works just as fine and even better with customizable options and the design looks great, more modern than ever.

It's a brand new effing forum structure. Meaning EVERYTHING that was on v3 for the most part, has to be RECODED and REDONE, which takes TIME!

I'm going to whine now. Just to see you try to smack me through my laptop's screen.

This will take some time to get used to, but in time I'll be able to run through the forum like the old one.

Really, I'm not upset about the change of look, I just wish there was a clear barrier between posts. My dumb color blind eyes can't handle so much light gray lines on white.

Just by reading the who's going to be president thread, I'd a thought you all could embrace change, then reading this thread you all look to be a bunch of conservatives. O_o

Have you tried tinkering with your monitor settings? I can clearly see Light Grey / White between posts.
Maybe checking your brigthness and contrast settings could help.

Devs: Still, the change is very subtle, contrasting just a bit more could make the issue with most users go away.
 
It's not a problem with my monitor. It's a problem with my eyes! *spooky thunder clap*
 
The new style isn't aesthetically pleasing for me either, it's so bland. I don't care about the system or layout itself, it's just something you have to get used to after all.
But design-wise (at the moment) everything looks so pale and white without any defining features, it feels like I'm at a hospital. Everything is a white square box with some text slapped on and honestly I can't see the alternating shades of white properly either without readjusting the contrast all the time, GBAtemp looks less appealing than DS-scene haha well for now.
No seriously though I hope things will change in the future, the ideal thing would be to import or imitate the old boards design choices, the post divisions, the different site decorations, the glossy icons/bars and so on.

With lack of a better word I'd say the new board looks um... boring.
I'm just being honest, I know that this will take some time and that having the site running in the first place is a priority.

it seems it's kinda too wide and font size is a bit smaller, making it hard too read with bigger screen.

oh well... finally it's back.
