Ahhhh......first release of the month I have downloaded. Thanks Xuzz! Maybe I'll play around with this I hardly ever go into sysmenu anymore though. Excellent job, I know you've been at this for some time. Congrats on the release!

Must be installed, but doesn't touch the registry and is completely portable. Feel free to browse for your usb key in the installer for where to install to.
 
Updated Mac link in the first post to work better, and such.

Windows version MUST BE RUN MANUALLY FROM C:\program files\wadder, NOT FROM THE DESKTOP ICONS!

b) What is the correct method of decoding and encoding RGBA8 GX image data into a GX TPL?
c) How do you prevent a -4100 error when installing a WAD file created with homebrew tickets?
d) When does the Wii present a ??? icon for a channel because of lack of compression (and what kind of compression)?
e) How many bits are reserved to the node type in the node header of a U8 archive?

Even I only (think) I know 2 answers for that:
c) Trucha?
d) U8 or some compression?

ill be sure to use this if i want to make a channel although i usually let everyone else do all the work and then i leech it

Yes, but some types of LZ77 compression are wrong. You need either comex's modified gbalzss or a specific Nintendo SDK tool. Currently, WADder 3 doesn't use either -- this is to make it work on the Mac and on Linux. Hopefully that can be added sometime, but compression is difficult to code, and SLOW in python :/
 
I am having a problem with the banner part of WADder, when I replace the default banner with my own static banner, it screws the picture up and makes it weird, at first I thought maybe it was my banner I created but then I exported the Static Basic banner and without editing it, imported it again and it still screwed up:

All I did was "extract" and then "replace" I didn't even edit the .png

That's because the TPL preview is messed up. It should still look fine on the Wii.

Note: if you also choose RGBA8 you will get higher quality images and won't ever get corruption -- but sometimes the wii doesn't like that.
 
will your program ever allow making a fowardable channel? whether to sd or USB where we can set the target to foward to?

and d) is LZ77 compression through wiilz77
and that's all I know xD
