Hi! So i am trying to install a wad but it is not appearing on the wii home/dashboard. I use wad manager and install it and says success but when i got to home it is not there. Is there a fix to this? Let me know your thoughts, any help is much appreciated

~Seabii :)

which wad ? (some are hidden channels)

which wad manager? does it allows you to install to emuNAND instead of NAND ? maybe you picked the wrong location?

it could also be a bad wad, but I suppose it shouldn't say successful. or it's successful but there is no actual data in the wad, or it's a DLC ?

It’s a legend of Zelda wad labeled ios9 for wii vc . I used wad manager, I saw a video of how to install it but I did not have any luck. I picked the correct location too. And what’s emuNand?

ios9 is not a game or channel for your Wii, that is the Wii's operating system. The Wii has a lot of different numbered ios files, 9 does indeed relate to Zelda Twilight Princess (and a few other probably early/launch games) but isn't the game itself.

EDIT: Actually are you trying to obtain the Virtual Console NES Legend of Zelda? I see you're from the UK, and you're possibly trying the NTSC version?

I am trying to get OoT. its labled IOS9-64-v1034.wad if thats not the game how would i install it?

That is definitely not the game pal, that's just the version of ios9 needed to play a selection of games. You'll have to look again for the game I'm afraid.
ok i understand thanks! just one thing is if i get the game how would i play it? wiivc i want to use

Just install it like you did with the ios file really! If you know you've got enough space, just install to the Wii nand, but optionally as Cyan says, you could install to emunand as you won't have any worries about storage space then (but if memory serves me right you may have to jump through a couple of hoops - specifically you would want to use neek2o - I think! ..Cyan will know better - as a couple of N64 VC don't work via regular emunand, and I think OoT might be one of them)
(If that sounds a bit confusing ...then install to the Wii itself! ;))
