Wow! Just tried this running it from my Seagate Go USB 320gb HD and it works like a charm! Thanks soooo much!

Update: I liked it so much I have modified a couple icons to come up with a decent icon for this wad manager modification.
Right-click it and save it as icon.png. I take no credit for the icon, elements came from a couple different sources.

Do u do channels?
not yet but do want to look into it for some other things. I thought there already was a channel for this?

Hi ! to begined , thank you very much for your great work! Then I'd like to know if you could address my problem. I would like to install. Wad on my emulated NAND which is at the root of my SD card. >>Select NAND emulator device: SD/SDHC Card then Wii SD slot and there is a error (ret-1).

Dump the NAND on a SD card using "Simple FS Dumper". Copy this dump to the root of my USB Hard Drive and to the root of my USB Key. Move the dump to the root of my SD card.

Test 1: Install a WAD on the NAND on my SD card (this is the same device as the WAD folder).
Result: Error (-1)

Test 2: Install the same WAD on the NAND of my USB Hard Drive connected in port 1.
Result: Error (-1)

...Shut down the Wii, unplug USB Hard Drive and plug the USB Key in the same port...

Test 3: Install the same WAD on the NAND of my USB Key connected in port 1.
Result: Successfully installed (no error) !!!

Installer: WAD-Manager v1.5 Mod3
NAND Dumper: Simple FS Dumper

I've tried WAD-Manager v1.5 with the same results...
So the issue is in Waninkoko's Custom IOS38 Rev 14 or in the WAD-Manager...

The bug of test 1 is already known. You can't run WAD Manager off a device and install a WAD on the same device. It has to be SD -> USB or USB -> SD

Great mod wiininja,

I want to run it entirely from usb.
Would it be possible for it to look for the wm_config.txt file on the device your running from (where dol is) or if it doesn't find it on sd look on usb etc.

Thanks

It's because when you emulate NAND from SD, it mounts the SD as it would be the real NAND. That doesn't allow reading from the same device where it is writing, and I don't think it can ever be fixed.

Unfortunately, WAD-Manager 1.5 with Folder Support does not recognize my USB Hard Drive... This is not a hardware issue since WiiXplorer, USBLoader GX, USBLoader CFG ans others support the same Hard Drive!

Thanks wiiNinja, I will wait for the next version...

Any way to save the SMB settings in the wm_config.txt file? If so, what's the syntax?

Thanks, this is a huge time saver!
