I've just updated the first post with Mod2: Config file, password, and startupPath. The download includes a channel as well. For those who don't like the default path sd:/wad, now you can specify your own. Try it out and let me know if you find any problems.

very strange, this version of Wad Manager 1.5 doesn't work for me, I get the ret = - 1 error but the 1.4 version made by wiiNinja works fine?

The link in Wiininja's first post at the top of this thread works.

i have question ^^

is it possible to make options at the beginning listet like:

>> Select IOS verison to use: < IOS249 >
Select Nand emulator device: < Disable >
Select Source device: < Wii SD Slot >

at the moment you have to confirm one by one, but i think its easyier to confirm all on one time

i hope you understand what i mean ^^

ps: nice mod2

WiiNinja, could you make it so if no wm_config.txt is found, the manager assumes no pass is set and starts in sd:\wad\ instead of complaining about missing config file?
(basically, can we have mod1 back ^^)

Edit, nvm, I found mod1 here: http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?jik3tmm0m4z

Thanks for those nifty enhancements!

I intended to do this, but forgot to comment out the warning. I'll change it so no config file means the defaults.

Update: The download for mod2 now has this change: no config file = default params.

Using this, if i have long wad file name, it cannot show on second line.
On waninkoko wm1.5, it show second line, but the list on top will be missing.

Hello
@Wiininja i can#t find the source from the wm 1.5 mod in github
can you give me the link ?

I definitely second this request!
Thanks also for the mod2 uses defaults instead of asking for config tweak

See you,

Any ETA on the source code? I can't wait to get my hands on it to add my DVD slot light mod to it

(when a wad is being installed (or uninstalled) the light turns on. The DVD slot light then turns off once the installation (or uninstallation) is finished).

The source code for either mod will do fine. I'm just looking forward to its release (hint hint

).

hope that you and wiiNinja can incorporate your mods with his mods to form 1 great Wad Manager Mod development

The source is now up:

I merged the latest 1.5 code with the old 1.4 code. Use the tags to select the different versions: mod.v1.0 and mod.v2.0 are the old WM 1.4 code and v1.5.mod2 is the latest. I pushed the code up, but did not download to verify; so if you run into problem, just let me know.

All are welcome to contribute. Just PM me and I'll add you to this Github project.

I'm sure he could incorporate this with or without my help as it is a simple mod, but if he wants me to do the honors, I'm all there

. Of course, this is assuming that he would want to incorporate this feature into the mod - he may not want to.

Work very nice... no problem with my «Duracell 4Gb SDHC»

K, then this is even more messed up for me.

I have a Duracell 4GB SDHC also. Yet I get the error ret -1 with this Wad Manager 1.5 and all other versions. Yet the Wii can read the channels stored on my SDHC, and so can the homebrew channel. Yet Wad Manager and HBB can't read it

.

Are you launching Wad Manager 1.5 from a Channel on the Wii? Or from inside the HBC?

Let's compare our setups. Because if it's not the SDHC card that's the problem, then it must be system differences.

I have:

System Menu 4.1
cIOS38 rev 14
Patched IOS60 for VC/Wiiware
Patched IOS36/37 using WiiPower's Trucha restorer.
BootMii (Boot2)
DVDx from HackMii

And I think that's about it, install wise.

SD cards work in Wad Manager.

SDHC cards error ret -1, and failed to initialize FAT subsystem. Even though HBC can read apps from it, and Wii can read channels from it.
