I'll be happy if you can make the funktion to select all WAD in one "click"
Yeah that would be a very handy thing
Especially if you are following a guide which has all wads that need to be installed ready

Hey Nobby, is this the same version you sent me or have u fixed usb 2.0 support (by recompiling using the right libogc)?

Also does this include Leathl's last changes (1. more detailed install report and 2. limiting file name character's displayed so it does not take up two lines and force some lines to ALWAYS be offscreen)?

Fixed the usb2 problems by using a different libfat, and stopped it marking directories. But yeah it's the same version as I sent you last. I just noticed the threads still active and people want that feature so I got that working. The newer version is nowhere near ready yet.

It's an older version I had lying about. I know I've got the source somewhere with Leathls last editions to this so I'll get on digging that out and post that with these couple of changes later.

Sorry it took me longer to find the source than I thought.

This is Leathls last version with mload support (no nand emu support there yet), hold +/- for 2 seconds to select everything in a folder and should be able to read the config file from usb.

EDIT: I know a lot of people will prefer this http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=208281, but I'm sure there's just as many who prefer stand alone apps.

EDIT the second: If you need USB1 support you will have to use this version http://www.mediafire.com/file/z1tc3ydf2wm/YAWMM.dol as __io_usbstorage.shutdown() still seems to not work, so it doesn't try to load the config file from USB if not found on SD.

thanks a lot for this Nobby! Much appreciated! I've got some wads to install today so i'm gonna take it for a test drive

Hey Nobby,

unfortunately I found a bug (in the USB2.0 version for sure, probably in the other one but i didn't test it).

If you launch the wad manager and u only have an sd card in the wii, it will load the main screen for 1 second, but once the program realizes that there isn't a usb HD plugged into port0 it DSI's (should be easy to replicate these results)

If u launch it via the sd card but u have a usb HD also plugged in it works fine.

I suspect it has something to do with reading the config file from usb, PM me if u want me to test anything before releasing it publicly

cheers buddy

edit: another bug, it errors 100% of the time when using a forwarder channel.... not sure why

whenever i use the config.txt to load IOS249, it DSI errors.

using cwstjdenobs latest mod

Ok, sorry it took so long. This is basically a fixed version of the last one I posted with
  • No longer lets you use the same source device as the nand emu.
  • No longer let's you uninstall the System menu. Do not let this give you a false sense of security, I haven't bothered putting in checks for the SM IOS yet
  • Holding +/- again for 2 seconds deselects everything.
