I guess I get you all wrong... Could you tell me what's wrong with the USB 2.0 support ?
I don't get it... I have no problems when compiling.

You have your FAT partition in first place on your USB2.0 HDD, followed by a WBFS partition or visa verse?

What version of libogc are you using? As I'm on 1.8.1
But when compiling with 1.8.1 i still get the -1 on my usb device.

So the problem with the USB devices was the libogc version I used. This one works now.
Many thanks to xflak40 for testing it!

Two dols are included. The original and WiiShizzza's Facelift (I really like it, great work!).

Version 2b: http://www.mediafire.com/?etmdgyjnj33

I just tried your new v2b with the facelifted background. The console has the wrong dimensions and doesn't match the background.
Still facing the -1 in that version.

Wii Shizzza - I tried YOUR facelift version and I prefer Leathl's since it has the larger Text field - despite the issues with your background. Also, yours crashes (for me since I use this dol in a wad) on exit. If you really want your name on here somewhere, I am sure you can find another place for it - but it shouldn't stand out any more than anyone else's (like Waninkoko). I would just get rid of the bottom graphic altogether if that meant increasing the Text Field - but that may not be doable.

Anyone else- The one feature I just thought of and may be tough to do is to have WM detect which of the channels it lists are Already Installed on the Wii. That way the user doesn't go uninstall the wrong listing only to find when they get back the SM that the one they hoped would uninstall is still there and they have to go back in and try to figure out which to uninstall (or maybe that's just me!).

I just was bored and wanted to be creative. The bg was more or less meant only for myself.
Anyway I though I should share it....

...here 2 more backgrounds. If one finds them matching.

@WiiShizzza or Leathl, any chance of posting a binary with the new backgrounds? Hopefully this one has more space in the text field (IlluminiX mentioned it was smaller). Its no big deal, but it will probably only take u a couple seconds to do...???

EDIT_2: can some1 help me find the right libogc to support USB 2.0?

It should be no problem to change the size of the console box.
Depends of what you want beeing changed.
In my facelifted .dol I just changed
Code:
#define ENTRIES_PER_PAGEÂÂÂÂ10
in globals.h
and moved the console around in gui.c
Code:
#define CONSOLE_XCOORDÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂ48
#define CONSOLE_YCOORDÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂ132
#define CONSOLE_WIDTHÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂ544
#define CONSOLE_HEIGHTÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂ248

But it's up to Leathl if he wants to release a version with anything changed.
Its his topic and mod.

It would be better not to spam the thread with different sources and dols anymore

//EDIT:

- source comes with leathls download.

I tried compiling with libogc 1.8.0 and 1.8.1 I still get the -1 when choosing the usb 2.0 source.
Maybe that's because I have 3 partitions on my hdd. FAT comes at second place....

no clue what could cause this... sure it's the libogc ?

didn't this version work for you ?
Leathl said, it should work...

yes yes, this version worked! Leathl PMed me a binary that worked b4 he posted v2b to the public.

I'm not sure what libogc he used to compile it, and the only change he made to v2 to get it working in v2b was use a dif libogc (as far as I know, Leathl would know for sure, but he casually mentioned that was the only change he made)

EDIT: so with the source, and the right libogc, anyone should be able to make their own custom background (or more advanced coders can actually implement some actual changes to the code.

Ok, so I compiled v2c.
It added instructions on the screen and took the 2nd background from WiiShizzza's new ones (Thanks Shizzza!).
This one definitely works with my USB device, so I assume it should work for you aswell. Be sure to use USB 2.0 for Port 0 and USB for Port 1!

EDIT: I'll upload my libogc soon

Those are the correct settings when using IOS249, if you choose to use IOS36, use have to use USB 2.0 for Port 1 and USB for Port 0 (at least that was how wii ninja's wad manager folder mod v3 worked)

Thanks for this new rev Leathl (and background Shizzza)! This mod makes almost all other wad managers obsolete!

EDIT: thanks for sharing your libogc Leathl!!

Leathl - 2c's not working so well for me. I get garbled text right under the top banner and above the wad listings and the instructions fall of the bottom of the screen when all lines in the wad listings are used.

Same here.

See the garbled text:

I tried to recompile with your libogc and I'll end up with this:
