So Basically I've been trying to set up my vWii homebrew and I've been trying to get Usb Loader GX to work and it seems to not be recognizing my usb drive and it's games I made sure that I formatted it to FAT32 and im unsure what to do now and basically im stuck as of now on what to do next since it isn't recognizing the drive any help please?

Hello,

Use an external hard drive with a Y-cable or AC power and you'll be fine.:yayu:
Okay ill try getting a hard drive since they're more reliable but how come I boot wiiflow and cfg usb loader and it somehow detects my games? although they tend to crash whenever I boot up a game so will a external hard drive fix this for sure I just wanna make sure

Yes

A hdd as drive is the best u can do. But there exists the possibilty, that one or another drive isn`t supported. Flashdrive pen/stick or SDCard-adapter to use is always pain.

Mostly it depends on wich version of usb loader gx you use. Latest (1272) is recommended. Then wich cios with wich base you use as loader ios and wich as game ios. Also on wich port your drive is pluged in.

If u use a cios 249/250/251 with d2x (v10 beta52 is recommended) only port 0 (vWii upper back port) is supported. If the drive and all games are recognized use a cios with base 57 wich works with 99% of the games.

If your drive isnt recognized and/or the games doesnt work, set loader ios to 58 and game ios to a cios with base 58. Your drive needs to be in port 1 (vWii lower back one).

If still Problems appear, use this as checklist:

just go with a usb powered drive, I guess. you won't have to look for an outlet that way, but you'll need a y cable. plug the main part of the y cable into slot 0, which, iirc, is the slot on the left if the console is vertical.
