I still very curious a about if anyone has try mugen fighting games with trinux.

Not trying to compete with Trinux or anything, but I also have plans to port my OS kernel to the Espresso in vWii mode. I figure it's a good way to combine the two programming projects I'm currently involved with.Right now, DarkSide only supports x86 PCs, but I've designed it portably so it shouldn't be too hard to add PowerPC support as well.

I know this project has a ways to go but I have a stupid question: will trinux be a good platform for running emulators and playing media? And will it allow them to take advantage of the Wii u's hardware and HD video output?

currently i'm trying to figure out why root is inaccessible on easy wii linux, The main issue is there's no documentation on what the password is, because I can't check if my bluetooth dongle is recognized via hciconfig without root access ;-;
Thanks!
So Is it possible to use a USB WiFi dongle instead of a USB LAN adapter to connect to the internet on this?
Ninja_Carver I have a proposition for you. First let me say this, this exploit has far too much potential to just let it fizzle out of existence. You being a linux sysadmin (making you a guru by default) and my knowledge of microprocessors and assembly language, I think we should team up to make this exploit a full reality. It reminds me of the original xbox days when linux was THE platform for homebrew. I know this is not going to be easy by any means but if we "join forces" I know we can come up with something spectacular. What do you say?

I don't really have the time I used to for this project. Just bought a house, getting married soon, job is getting a bit crazy. On top of that I no longer own a Wii/U. Not sure how much help I can be. You can do most of the work on your own, honestly. If you're as good with CPU/ASM take a crack at compiling 3-core support into the Linux Kernel 3.0.86+ stub for PPC750.

I did not think that was the full kernel mode exploit. Did I misread it?
