Ok vwii nus downloader. It's here, and certainly not mine.
  1. Look up nusdownloader hopefully you'll find the google page
  2. grab visual studio so you can compile the program
  3. Change the wii common key to vwii common key
  4. Attmpt to build it. If it doesn't work and spew some sort of error like cannot find a file. along the lines of orange-blue.png. That is a result of nus downloader missing some files. go to the resources folder and either copy a existing png file and name it to the file specified. Or create a custom file for that and name it the exact same thing.
Profit... Ish. There is a oddity I should note.
The oddity is that nusdownloader will download more than what you need. You'll get extra files for some reason. Ignore those extra files and just look at your vwii dump or vwii. And look at what file name exists in it. And only copy the files that exist within your dump to your vwii.

to explain. You'll have something like 0001.app 0002.app 0004.app 0006.app on your vwii but nus will have. 0001.app 0002.app 0003.app 0004.app 0005.app 0006.app. So only drag the files that normally exist.
Wad packing doesn't work. But decryption does.

Finally. I actually got it working. At the moment I have a functional nus downloader that properly decrypts vwii files. However I'm requesting some people to look into the extra files that come with it. for what ever reason, just using mii maker as a example. There are 3 extra files when downloading vwii mii maker. However these files can be ignored as long as you know which files mii maker actually uses. But anyone have any idea on what those files are? If you wish to help me out dm me.

And I don't know if I'm going to release the files for nus downloader due to the fact it contains vwii common key. But just letting everyone know we have progress... that we should had ages ago.
For public release you could simply have the user insert the key themselves, and then check it against the known correct hash to verify, alerting the user if the generated hash does not match the known valid hash. If correct then the inserted key is used. Its how almost every other nus tool seems to work.

Gotcha. But also I only made a single change to the program, so I don't feel like it wouldn't warrant or be fair of me to make it my own. Because really. It's based of the nus downloader of wii, like entirely, the only change was the key. I'll probably convert this page into a guide. And also I'm not the best coder. Sure I made a single change but doing a check like that.... I honestly wouldn't know how.
