Hacking vWii Micro SD card question

Im going to go out and buy a bigger SD card for vWii stuff(homebrew, wbfs backups, nintendont) and I wanted to know if theres a size restriction. Will I be okay if I get a 128gb card or is that too big and it wont read it or something? Just a quick noob question thats all.

Also Im not getting a USB because Ive been having compatibility issues with the one I own

Should read the card just fine. But you might want to manually format it to FAT32 first, because cards over 32GB usually come pre-formatted as exFAT.
