I've only limited the votes to the big boys in the console industry. No 3DO or Pippin (sorry).

To remind you what each console looked like I've included a picture of the each contender. Now obviously some consoles have had a change of design during their lifespan so you may need to elaborate in your comment if you specifically like a certain version of a console.

Personally, my favourite design is the original ps2 with the vertical stand. I don't think there is anything that comes close.

I've always liked the PS1's look. Just a simple, good looking design.

If you were into aesthetic hardware modding the original xbox was the way to go. The 12v lead for the hdd could be used by most led's and devices made for cars without the use of resistors. With its broad flat surfaces it was easy to paint and dremel to add screens and whatnot, and had plenty of room inside for extra wiring and devices.

But if you want stock appearance, I think the Genesis was neat. (Before the frankenstein addons) Black and sleak and had small blended buttons. The power light was kinda cool to.

I don't even have a PS4 but I voted for it because it just looks so damn pretty.

The atari jaguar looks so bad it's good again.
And while that may not be saying much, i actually don't care how my consoles look (it's like judging soccer players for their intelligence: doable, but why should you?).
I voted wii for the small size, but ps2,ps4 and xbone look good too.
