I use a pair of headphones, namely the Sennheiser HD 201. Using it on the PC is fine, the quality and volume is good enough. But when I use these headphones on my 3DS, the volume is really low and it's very unsatisfactory. I cannot hear the music of the games properly. The speakers are fine but I prefer headphones cause I can hear the music properly, I'm sure some would understand. So is there any solution to this? New headphones or some amplifier?

the 3ds limits the max output... its a console for kids, nintendo makes babysitting on not letting them play at a "high" volume but its confortable, its just like 30% less volume from my experience...

so you will need an amplifier...

If that's the only reason for having it so low, then what they need to do is, under the parental controls, have an option to boost it.
