With the official, i still can't dump my Muramasa Rebirth...this official one actually gives an error before even opening the manual. Anyone know how to dump this game (since there are dumps already out there). I really want to dump my version for portability.

Did you minimize and switch to vitamin even though the error was displayed?
I had one game that showed an error but was dumped fine nevertheless.

What region? is it physical

I did not test many games as I don't see the logic in dumping my own games when I already own all of the ones I wanted and I'm not into doing anything as risky as sharing, but I noticed that different versions of Vitamin have different success rates.
Especially the leak uses a different launch method and even though I didn't install it to test if it's working, some games like EUR Hungry Giraffe worked with the leak but not with the proper release.
It's a real pain that one cannot have both installed at the same time as this would make things easier to compare, but I guess it's better than noting for people that really don't want to spend the money on games.

I just posted in the Official Vitamin thread something similar. Seeing as compatability is kinda low, and I have all but maybe 2 titles I want on the PSVita I will not utilize the tool. Taking nothing away from the development of this awesome tool, it just doesn't hold the appeal given compatibility and my current PSVita cartridge library.

For those who don't want to have to install the SDK and/or want more detailed instructions, let me know if this works:

  1. Backup the (non-working) VPK you dumped to your PC. Rename it from .VPK into .ZIP, and extract it to a folder.

  2. Download SFOEditor, from here.

  3. Download the param.sfo I took from a homebrew called VitaPad, from here.

  4. Open up SFOEditor, and load in the param.sfo I provided. Click the STITLE field and use the text box at the bottom to switch it to the name of the game you backed up; do the same for the TITLE field.

  5. Click the TITLE_ID field, and type in the Game ID (this should be in the name of the VPK you dumped).

  6. Click File->Save.

  7. Head to the folder you extracted in step 1, and open up sce_sys. Delete the param.sfo it contains, and replace it with the param.sfo you saved in step 6.

  8. Zip up the contents of the folder you extracted in step 1, and rename it from .ZIP into .VPK.

  9. Finally, drag the VPK back to your Vita and install.

What Vitamin version? All the official 1.0?

all official 1.0

the only difference i see between the two is that leak just gives error at a different point if it doesn't work but both same games error

Corpse Party: Blood Drive | US (Physical) | NOT Working | Leak,v1.0 | C2-12828-1 On Launch

Dumped three times with leak, twice with official. All but one erroring with the same issue. Re-compiled SFO on most dumps to no avail.

If anyone got Mortal Kombat to work / dump correctly..please let me know how. I'm not having success with mine
