Thank you for the tip. However using the method in the video you posted is not required for the red heart cheat. It sadly does not work for the black hearts cheat. Also the person in the video is on the Mai dump USA version of the game not the nonpdrm version I am on. I think the black hearts cheat may not be working because when it was made I had different characters to the ones I have now. I have double checked the cheat and it is entered correctly as well.

For the invincibility code, it's the I-frame counter from getting hit, which is why you blink while shooting. Are you actually taking damage, or are you just being bounced around without triggering the damage animation?
I'm going to check on the codes, anyway. Working on the US version yielded different kinds of results. I'll update things as I figure it out.
