I'm glad can help you guys make everything more easier. Still can't participate making cheat code but hopefully still can provide some idea

That's pretty much what I do. I was pretty good at making codes for PSP, but not so much on the Vita. Way more moving parts. I know what needs to be done a lot of the time, but not how to do it.
That's when I start bugging @Yohoki, @monodevil, and @Smoker1. They're good at figuring out how to implement the things I babble about.

Yesterday, I tried to find pointer from 2 dumps file. I only get 3 green result. From the result level 1 pointer, all are black so I continue dig the result to try level 2 but still no green result. So, in this case, the pointer should be in level 3 or above,right? But, because " I'm lazy" to dig in more deeper, what I did was just set the max offset search to 0x10000 and the green result appear and I test it and it works. So, I get the level 1 pointer without have to dig deeper one by one. Am I lucky or it can apply to other game,too?

Most good pointers should be an offset of under 0x4000 and will usually be an address somewhere between 81000000 and 83000000.... but this isn't always true for every game.... If your pointer doesn't fit those 2 rules, I'd test it a lot.

Try different characters, beating the game and playing new game+, saving exiting and reload the game.... As much as you can do to break it and see if it keeps working... It's tough work to make sure it's a good pointer, but it's a lot easier than trying to remake the codes when people say "It's not working".

But, there's also no 1 strategy to rule them all.... Every game will require a different way to hack it. there's hundreds of people programming games, different companies, different game engines, new programmers who follow the books and old dogs who know sneaky tricks.... Every game will have a different set of people working with a different set of tools, and hacking it has to adapt to every combination. So, It'll always be different.

Also... try using more than 2 dumps in TempAR. If your version of TempAR doesn't allow more than 2 dumps, check the link in my signature for a newer version that I made.

Already use your tempAR vita edition. Always use 2 dumps, but if it is not working, then I just add more dump

I see there is a demand here for a dedicated web forum to discuss mainly cheats for the vita games, and I am planning to give back some to the community if I can. So, I have few questions for you;

• Will you really be using a dedicated forum to discuss vitacheat ? This forum can be shaped/evolved according to the community's demands.
• Since this will be a fan project/hobby for me (at least for the beginning) I will be investing a fairly low amount, so most probably the connection for the forum site will not be secure (this needs more investment), will you still be thinking to use the site in that case ?
• Unfortunately I do not have too much spare time to spend for the forum moderation. So, @Yohoki, @monodevil, @Smoker1 and @eighthdayregret will you be interested for such a title ? Other members of the forum here are also welcomed and can do the job of course.

So guys and girls, let me see your comments on this and see what can I do (or not to do) for this fan project. I don't have a clear agenda and timing to implement the project so your comments will be precious. Thanks for your time and happy cheating.

Although I'm sure we all appreciate the offer, if we decide to do it, it would probably be one of the more experienced and well known members of the community that would be running it and creating the web server... for various reasons. I think @Smoker1 has already taken care of the forum creation plans, anyway and we just need to test a few things out.

I think I need some explanation on vitacheat's Unsafe Memory dumps as I've never really messed with it. From what I understand, it also dumps bits of the Vita's RAM? I was trying to take a peek at an unsafe dump but I don't really understand the differences in the settings, where unsafe is set at 81000000-81001000 whereas a normal dump is set at 81000000-8X000000. Maybe this is more of a RAM memory question than anything.

any dump is looking at RAM. Vitacheat only works with RAM. The unsafe option, as far as I can tell, isn't any more or less safe... it just lets you do more accurate dumps. IIRC, the safe dump keeps you from putting a number in the last 3 digits. But with unsafe, it let's you specify down to the bit, instead of stopping you at 81001000, you could set it to 81001XXX.

So basically, it's a normal dump as far as I can tell... just more accurate.

I could be wrong, but I believe the Unsafe Dump (which Finalcheat never fully implemented, according to himself), is supposed to let you dump below 81000000, or something like that. I remember him saying to Roah that, with full Unsafe Dump/Import functionality, you could accidentally brick your Vita.

Makes sense. That would explain why it's much more accurate. You would want to be able to select only the parts you needed, because accidentally writing a system app's RAM might end up telling the vita to do something pretty bad. I mean, it already messes up bad enough when you try to write to or read an NX address (the Red XX's). Probably for the best that that isn't possible for Vitacheat... best to leave that bit to the developers, and they have better tools for that part.

Just read the wiki in front page. It is easy to hack money, even u can change your stat above the max.

Im sure "fuzzy-search" can help to solve your problem. I tried it in the past and it worked. If it doesent work for you, try searching for items amount and sell it to get your money.

Im sure "fuzzy-search" can help to solve your problem. I tried it in the past and it worked. If it doesent work for you, try searching for items amount and sell it to get your money.

Normal search enough, the stat is all there near the money offset. It is only 4 byte after it

Did you find pointers with TempAr or other tools? I have many dumps for different games but cant find a good pointer with TempAr. Sadly, Universal Pointer searcher doesent work on my pc.

So... no instructions or anything here.... but Proof of Concept.... found a Double value in only 2 searches with Cheat Engine, while running the game.... I'll edit up the video to take out some of the waiting for dumping and transferring to PC parts as well as add commentary and instructions... I also plan to add voice over as well as subtitles for our foreign hackers that can read, but maybe not listen to english.

But... all else aside, Here's a video of me using Cheat Engine to find a code that can't be made in VitaCheat.

Nice @Yohoki... hope more and more user learn and try to make their cheat so we can get more cheat database . I think latest CE is version 7.1.... yours still 7.0
