Hacking VitaCheat/FinalCheat Database

Was able to get an HP code in Freedom Wars. Looks like it was definitely that weird case of memory chunks being moved around at launch. I'm still not sure what causes it, but the pattern was very clear to see once I got the Memory Dumps. Based on the 2 codes that Monodevil provided for Entitlement Points, I was able to find an address that was said "FFFFFFFF" for each code when they were in use. So, we started getting dumps and labelling them C Set or D Set and only pointer searching each set separately. That turned up a pointer for each set.

Update: after following what monodevil said, it totally messed up my vita and now I'm stuck when I turn on my Vita, molecule logo pops up then it just rinse and repeats... anybody can help me?

You've not installed it correctly. Boot your vita while holding L to boot up without plugins enabled. While in that mode, go to VitaShell and give us screenshots or something of the following:

ur:tai/ - We want to see the folder
ur:tai/config.txt - We need to see what plugins you have and how they're set up
ux:tai/ - We also need this folder if you have it
ux:tai/config.txt - Same, if it exisits
ur:VitaCheat/ - we need to see this folder's contents
ux;VitaCheat/ - We also need to see this folder's contents.

Both. Plugins can be stored and run from both areas and vitacheat as well. So I need everything.

That error means you don't have permission to use the app. It happens when plugins are messed up, because a plugin is supposed to be giving you permission.

How is that possible anyway? I mean, we have the same plugin, and we have the same game version.

What do you want to cheat? I can help you to find it. Money and material is super easy modifiy. Character's stat can be founded by using 00XX00YY (XX and YY is the base value of two stats in hex type ). And remember to set search range from 8EXXXXXX to 91XXXXXX.

Delete ux0:tai/
This folder is not needed. Plugins can be run from ur0:

And the vitacheat folders on ur/ux?

I also don't see vitacheat.skprx on either config.txt.

Delete that ux:tai folder and try rebooting again without holding L. Your folders look right to me.

Edit: good news is your vita isn't bricked if it's booting like this. Anything you've done can be fixed.

That's fine. It happens. Can you install reFOOD and nonpdrm. You'll probably need to do it manually, if Autoplugin isn't working. I think AutoPlugin has outdated versions anyway.

But they do not work, correct? You'll need to use H-encore (or whatever you used to jailbreak) to get it working again.

Edit: Yep. Not following directions and softbricking your console is always stressful. I've been there. I'm that old man that sometimes misses a line of instructions.

You're not really at square one. Everything you had is still there and will probably just work again when you get CFW again.

I just don't know what to do now.. I have all these programs but no clue how to get it back to working condition. I'm new to this stuff.. I followed the 3.70 method so does that mean I have to download the free game and use the exploit? or can I activate the programs I already got?

Do you still have trinity installed? I believe you can still just open it and run it again.
