Hacking Vita retroarch setting up?

Hey guys. I've just set up retroarch on a vita I have lying around. I scanned a folder containing hundreds of roms.

I'm trying to add thumbnails and assign cores but can only seem to do this one rom at a time which is impractical for nearly a thousand roms.

Is it possible to bulk download and bulk assign cores?

Which emulators are you trying to use? arcades needs to be zip, consoles needs to be unzipped to be able to scan folders.
