Hacking vita modding help

just picked up a used PS VITA SLIM should arrive in the mail by xmas since im new to the vita does anyone have a link to a hood hacking/modding tut on youtube or where ever so i can mod my vita and learn how it all works

I've got a sd2vita in my drawer and decided to put it in my 3.60 vita 1004 hacked it ages ago so it's in need for an upgrade.
https://vita.hacks.guide/ says to update it to 3.74, I think my mother (rest her soul) always told me to stay on 3.60. I'll do it but it feels so wrong...

@Tri-Z stupid question but following the info in the link you posted can i hack/mod my vita on a mac or does it need to be windows?
