we do not need that yet. currently apps are not taking full advantage of the memory that the wii was born with. we would get much better response making better use of that then using sd/usb for memory.

Maybe HB apps don't really need too much space, but having more space for Wiiware/VC would be nice. I think Waninkoko is working on something like that, but he said that he also entered another scene (PS3, I think) so don't expect anything soon...
