Hacking Virtual Console N64 Runs Awful

Hey guys, sorry for 1st post and all.. I do have another account here but I seem to have forgotten my password :'(

Anyway yeah, I have a very old Wii, today went to get some virtual console games (Super Mario 64 especially!) and found when I went to play them, they ran awful. About 3 - 4 fps.. sound stuttering etc. What's happened there?

Good chance you are using PAL region wads. they don't run very well on NTSC systems.

Sorry, it is a PAL wii. I've been using PAL or "region free" wad's though I can't remember which game was which specifically. Thanks for the reply though

update through nintendo?
i dont know anything about mod chips so check first.

are you running virtual console wads or emulator roms?
roms run bad on all wii n64 emu's, virtual console ones are perfect.
also what tv you use? try changing type ie 50hz to 60hz or hdtv to 60hz etc etc might help
