Hello all, since we have all been installing VC games recently, i figured i would try to make something very useful.
Since installing more VC games then you Wii can hold is very bad, we need to know how many "blocks" each game takes up.
So i'm going to try to make a Wiki page for easy reference so you don't mess up your wii.

But i NEED YOU HELP
I can't spend days installing and uninstalling every VC game released to see their sizes,
So I am asking the community of GBATemp to just go to their wiis and
Wii option--> data management--> channels
and tell me how many "blocks" each one takes.

Please help me complete this wiki

Just post what you got,
Thank you

EDIT: Thanks to Sir VG for the awesome Wiki Formatting.

When doing sizes, you really should do it in a xx+x format, because you have to account for the save as well as the VC game itself.

I can add a bunch later.

I'll have to readd it, because I redid the entire layout. I think this will work better, in regards to info stored (console column was redundant) and gives separate sections for region for easier viewing.

Edit: Info above added in.

Finished up sizes for the NTSC-U section (that there are currently WADs for) and added a new serial column.

If I have time later, I'll edit it that it has the complete VC list, since there is one at Wikipedia.

Oh, and BTW, whoever the goofball that did the European titles, Super Metroid and Super Street Fighter II: Turbo are SNES games, not NES.

Great work!

Added TG16 and Neo Geo game info to the list. Gate of Thunder is a freaken space hog. Must have been a CD game?

From Wikipedia
QUOTEGate of Thunder is a shoot 'em up by Hudson Soft and Red Entertainment for the PC Engine CD-ROM originally released in 1992. It was also a pack-in game for the TurboDuo in North America.[1] It was released on the Wii Virtual Console on October 15, 2007 in North America. The game is the first CD based game on the American Virtual Console.

This Wiki project has helped me greatly, now i can play a game, beat a game, and install a new one with out worrying about destroying by wii.

i've updated the block sizes for the incomplete VC n64 games on your wiki, hope that helps.

edit: i've noticed that the n64 game blocks that you had already listed are different from the ones i have installed a example is mario kart 64, i have 129 blocks installed while on your wiki it says 122, i'm guessing it has something to do with the different regions, maybe if we had a separate section for pal and ntsc?

There already are separate sections for both NTSC-U and PAL. Look at the table of contents
