Hacking Vim (free Open Source editor) for DS

Hi there, i was just thought to share a thought that if anyone would be interested in porting VIM (a free and open source editor) for the DS, i think this would be an awesome

(currently i don't really see any good homebrew editors for the DS atm, shame really, the DS has so much potential for applications like this) and this very _very_ much appreciated

P.S. >.< is it hard to port C or C++ code to the DS?
